A Word from the President

At Technology Resource Connections (TRC), our goal of Creating Futures and Changing Destinies reflects our belief that technology is an enabler to career success and economic empowerment. Early in my career, I worked one-on-one with business executives teaching them how to use computers and better understand the value these instruments could provide to their organizations. Their lack of familiarity with computers made them uneasy, but they were excited about the possibilities computer technology had to offer.

That was more than "10" years ago, and computers are now an integral part of almost every facet of American life – work, banking, entertainment, shopping, etc. As President of TRC, I encounter people who not only lack the knowledge of basic computer operations, but who are too intimidated to learn. This lack of knowledge and inability to conquer their fears has hindered their careers, and in turn, their earning potential. I believe the differentiators for career success are a commitment to lifelong learning and the ability to overcome obstacles. At TRC, we find ways to help individuals overcome their fears and gain the valuable skills they need to be successful in today's competitive business environment.

TRC creates a warm, supportive environment for our clients to build knowledge and confidence, whether they are business owners or employment-seekers.
