TRC Starts A New Program

Technology Resource Connections has created a new program aimed at combining Microsoft Office Certification training with on-the-job experience. This six month program matches participants at an area non-profit organization for four days a week while they spend one day learning technology skills, financial management, and life skills.The Real Commitment: Participant Pre-Test

TRC Named GRTC Award Finalist!

Technology Resource Connections has been named a finalist in the Greater Richmond Technology Council's (GRTC) 2008 Technology Awards. TRC is one of 5 finalists for the Technology Skillbuilder Award. We are honored to be recognized for the work we are doing in the community.

TRC has been awarded a $15,000 grant from The Community Foundation to support our small business technology assistance program. We are truly grateful for their support and belief in the mission of this organization.

Visit our Community Technology Center

TRC's community technology center is available to all Jackson Ward residents and TRC students. Please visit us for free use of computer and internet resources. Low cost computer based training is also available. For more information on location and hours go to Community Technology Center.

Classes Starting Soon

Register now for our upcoming computer classes. Introduction to Computers, Keyboarding Applications, and Microsoft Word courses will begin Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information on class description, schedule, and registration go to Programs & Services.

Open House

TRC will celebrate the opening of our new Community Technology Center located in Historic Jackson Ward on January 8, 2008, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The center will allow clients to complete computer based training, technology workshops, and utilize free computer/internet resources. Join us for this celebration sponsored by the Historic Jackson Ward Association. Please register now to attend.
